The Book of Acts-A Powerful record of the early church!!!!
The book of Acts has been a great source of inspiration and encouragement throughout my faith journey. I have read this book many times and each time I do I gain new insight to the might and power of Gods Holy Spirit in the lives of ordinary men and women of the early Church. They faced unprecedented persecution for believing in Jesus both from inside their faith community as well as outside, yet they were steadfast even until death. There is no more vulnerable time of a movement then in its beginnings. The enemy pulled out every trick to destroy the Church in its infancy. The Triumphant Church of Jesus Christ PREVAILED!
Today their story can energize your faith as you travel through challenging times. The Holy Spirit was active then and is active today! The enemy has not stopped trying to destroy the Church and as the Church lives out the powerful truth found in the scriptures in Acts by His power you can PREVAIL as well. Join me as I continue to preach and teach from this great book of power and encouragement. The person of the Holy Spirit is alive and well in our day. Read this exciting book weekly, yes you read right? Take the time to read the complete book of Acts each week, all 28 chapters. That would be 4 chapters each day for 7 days and start again and again. You will be amazed by in new insight into the plan of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as you read and learn. Do not stop practicing your PEAS as you read. God will use your story to do miracles in the lives of others as he has done in you.
Blessings to you and yours,
Pastor Mel Ramos
